  • Notes: PROGRAM FEES: None PROGRAM SERVICES: CRISIS LINE Phone: 208-664-9303 * Shelter -Provides 30 day emergency shelter to adults and children in imminent danger of abuse. Food, everyday necessities, case management, and support are available with 24-hour access to trained advocates. Safe Haven for Pets provides victims a safe place for their pets while in shelter. *Court Advocacy - Provides information and support within the court process. Trained advocates assist with Civil Protection Orders, provide legal referrals, coordinate efforts with law enforcement and prosecutor's office. Additionally, emergency 911 cell phones can be provided. *Sexual Assault Victim Advocacy - provides response to hospital 24/7, Crisis Line support and referrals, counseling, and court support for victims and their families *Counseling SOROPTIMIST COUNSELING CENTER- Counseling for children, victims, and their families consists of approximately 6-8 sessions that are provided at no cost to clients. Counseling can include immediate crisis intervention, safety planning, and play therapy. *Education NIVPC maintains a collection of resources on domestic violence and sexual assault, and anti-violence efforts. NIVPC is working with area school children in our Healthy Relationships program to decrease violence for the next generation. We also train and educate adult populations on domestic violence/sexual assault, including professional service providers and parent groups. All materials will be provided for these programs at no cost to schools or participants. * Outreach Awareness events in our community bring a very difficult Subject to talk about to the forefront.
