Notes: * PROGRAM FEES: None. * PROGRAM SERVICES: We strive provide the homeless population with basic services that most of us take for granted. These include services include: - Getting inside out of the weather to warm up or to cool down - Using a bathroom - Having a place to sit, read, visit, recreate, without being hassled - Taking a shower or just brushing their teeth - Washing clothes - Day Storage personal belongings and some long term storage - Receiving a message (maybe from a potential employer) - Using a telephone for local calls - Checking out employment opportunities - Getting advice from others - Developing friends and acquaintances - Access to education help and support. (1) MEAL SERVICES. Meals are served three times a day: 7:00 a.m. Breakfast.
Families with children are first so they can catch their bus to school. 9:30 a.m. Mid Morning Meal. Primarily provided with food donating that morning. 2:00 p.m. Afternoon Meal.
One last hot meal to get through the day until the night shelters open. Hot Coffee is available from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. or until it’s gone. (2) HOSPITALITY. Easing the burden of being homeless by providing: (a) Public Bathroom & Shower- Towels and soap provided. (b) Laundry Services – Clothes can be dropped off for washing and drying. (c) Public Phone Access – Make calls and receive messages. (d) Space to Socialize, Develop Friends and Network. (e) Getting out of the weather to warm up or to cool down. (f) Having a place to sit, read, visit, and recreate without being hassled.
